Actually Microsoft is not really becoming a PC vendor like Dell or HP. Basically Dell and HP make their PCs and sell them. But Microsoft is not planing to do that. Its actually Zenith and Wipro who will be making the computer. This is an initiative by Microsoft which will include many players and the scope is more than just selling some cheap PCs. The news here is incomplete. Please take a look at this link for more details -
