SBC should take note...
Verizon is only available in my area as a cell company. SBC has
had my ISDN line since days of Ameritech. Interesting that I
couldn't get a "unbundled" DSL circuit (one WITHOUT Plain 'Ol
Telephone Service [POTS] line) since SBC came to town.

Sad that they wanted to charge my brother an ADDITIONAL
$150/mo for ISDN service due to their poorly maintained
equipment (had to be fed from another town, still SBC land).

And SBC wonders why I don't have a POTS line. Or DSL. Or even
ISDN with them anymore. Completely wireless. Cell (Verizon happy as
backup phone. Main line (still my original 15 year old number)
VoIP now and a local ISP has my entire account.

Add it all up? My telecommunications costs are $30-$70
cheaper per month compared to anything a telco offers...

The baby bells will learn ... they are wire maintainers. They
STINK at networking (I've had *Verizon* & SBC based dialup,
ISDN, DSL, and T1 accounts ranging from home to corporate use
-- all their networks stink). Unbundle it (give it to me naked) or
get dusted. One of these bells will get dusted... AT&T?
