And when you DO get it in a mobile device, look out!
I'm imagining a cell phone that will project both a display and a virtual keyboard. (There is already such a keyboard available to plug into a laptop.) Add some good motion tracking and a couple or three buttons and you can use the phone body as a mouse. It would have to adjust its projection angles as you moused around, but that should be doable. Heck, it could maybe even be used as a 3D pointer if it tracks its movement optically via the lasers.
