And you are anti-human?
Calling people names--whether "capitalist scum" or "socialist pig"--don't help us solve the more important issue: love for your fellow man and survival of mankind.

While I personally think that manmade global warming is a crock, there are many disasters looming on the horizon that are not manmade. We need to focus on the big picture, not the short-term greed or foolishness of a few human beings.

Intellectual property is a dangerous idea that is anti-American in the sense that it is in conflict with the basic values of the Constitution. Although there is a portion of the Constitution that allows for some IP rights, this was a holdover from the monarchial system of England, and was protested by our most intelligent Founding Fathers (i.e. Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, to name a couple).

IP locks up ideas and retards the advancement of mankind for the temporary advantage of a few people.

Now which is better, to make a few people weathly by locking up knowledge and with the unfair competition that patent laws allow, or to allow competition and knowledge to the people so that we can all advance?

When two or more parties can spend lots of money to invent the same thing, and it depends solely upon who makes it to the patent office first, we have an unjust system.
