The article said the suit was for Sony's use of specific tech on some disks/titles, not blu-ray in general. Just as there are multiple methods, dyes, substrates, etc. used in creating CD's, and CD-R/RW in particular, there are multiple methods of creating blu-ray disks. This is about a specific tech that may have been used on some disks. Nothing more.
