Hello ,
I have been working with CISCO VoIP Solutions for almost 3 years and I have already changed couple of times the terminals at my customer premise and I have observed that even the newest models are still not made by CISCO.
So, correction, CISCO cannot provide IP telephones, in the real sense, because they do not produce them.
Even that CISCO IP Phones are best equipped with features and look fantastic there is a long way between them and other vendors (Mitel , Nortel, Avaya) that have tradition in telephony and produce their own IP terminals with very good quality and friability.
I congratulate both CISCO and IBM for their join venture and I am looking forward to see their new solution on my desk.
