Think different
Imagine:

You need a car.

Your salary - $1,200/month

Your bills/food - $1,000/month

Thus, you can afford only a car for $200/month which can
do everything you need and is fast as you need (how often
do you need to drive 150 miles/hour?).

But you want a car for $500/month NOW

You have basic choices:

1. Wait for a new job - not less than $1,500/month
2. Steal money
3. To live as homeless to save money
4. Borrow money (but who will pay for?)
5. Casino (?)
6. Mental help to buy a car you can afford

Conclusion (according to your logic):
If you want G5 but can afford only a PC - live with no
computers (?).

or if you need a computer for work:

Work with a computer (PC) you can afford and work?
