Apple is a hardware company? Even if they were to use x86
hardware, you wouldn't be able to "build your own". Why?
For stability, no need to port to junk hardware. As for
Apple's hardware, it has been solid and reliable for me.
have you even looked at a G5? They are quite cost
competative with EQUAL hardware from any major brand pc
maker. Sure Apple doesn't make disposable junk pcs. They
leave that up to the wintel group.
