Unblurring
This was a rather quick quip on Jobs' part, so
the answer to your question could easily be
either "Yes" or "no", but you will recall that
the mathematics of unblurring photos took some
giant leaps forward during the early days of the
Hubble Space Telescope (back when it was waiting
for corrective lenses to be installed).
Essentially, they are statistical algorithms that
know something about the optical system and use
that knowledge to re-construct the most likely
original that would have produced the observed
(blurred) result.

They're still running those "unblur" algorithms,
BTW, even now when the telescope can focus.
The unblurred photos have still better resolution
than the photos produced by the raw optics.
