VOIP Benefits
I am glad to see that New York has stepped up to the plate on VOIP with Vonage. The statement in the article concerning the benefits of VOIP I feel leave something to be desired. VOIP providers seem to feel that providing "Cell Phone" quality service is all it takes. They want the public to believe that they can provide a total package of local and long distance but they don't want to be classified as a phone company. I think if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's a duck. VOIP providers want to be phone companies but they don't want the responsibilty for providing all the services of a phone company.
