hypothetically speaking...
this was asumming Dell didnt' build their music players first, then approach Apple, which would have made no sense for Dell to do (then again, Dell is known for doing things that make no sense, like no AMD support). On the other hand, if Dell had approached Apple about reselling iPods, that would be good for Apple.
