I HAVE a WiMAX unit here on my desk for review. It is provided by an Israeli hardware manufacture. This hardware is already IN SERVICE in a number of small communities and universities. Guess what? Plug in the PCMCIA card to your laptop and your connected, no muss, no fuss, just fast speeds. And yes it is SWEET to be able to go anywhere in the town or on campus and be connected without all the limitations of 802.11 (WiFI).

But I tell you what, stick your head back in the sand and invest in the out of date and problematic systems, your competition (assuming you have a job) will love you for it...
