I know many people without credit cards
Just because they are hard to get. I don't really understand how one qualifies for a credit card. I mean I struggled to get one even though I had a spotless credit rating and I make lots of cash. I can go to the bank and get an unsecured line of credit in minutes but when it comes to credit card companies they are hesitant.

Then I look at who they are giving credit cards and I really begin to wonder about thier sanity. They give jobless single mothers credit cards who are living near poverty. They give students with no jobs cards to buy beer. They give cards to people who have gone bankrupt.

This really makes you wonder. But I think I have the answer. They want people to rack up credit beyond their ability to pay the full balance by the end of the month. They do this to maximize profits on interest by getting people who can only pay the minimum payment and consider those who never pay as an acceptable right off.

To test this theory I took my credit card that had only $500 limit and let a balance of $500 sit on it for 3 months while just paying the minimum payment. Three months later my limit was increased to the $1000 with out me even requesting it. Now I paid off the balance and for 3 years it has stayed at $1000.

Strange! But one the other side it just shows people don't care about privacy when it come to credit cards.
