Umm, weren't the 9/11 crazies here on student visas?

anything to pay off a favor .. but we need to put a good spin on it ... wha's a little bit of background checking of foreigners gonna due anywayt - the bad guys will just slip in along the borders without any checks.

it looks to me more like companies which use H1B visas should pay a penalty tax ... then we will see how much of that preceious labor pool can't be found onshore!

Call the bluff ... its all about greed and zero about access to R&D talent. If we cleared out the low cost labor, there would be plenty of slots for the high paid reserarchers and no "streamlingin" would be needed.
