iTunes was originally called SoundJam?. Apple not only bought
the rights to the program. They hired the programmer, that
created it. So finding prior art, SoundJam?, won't work. iTunes
interface is unique, being that the other media players don't look
anything like it. Also of note, when some companies want to
copy, clone, steal, the UI, stilly things like copyrights don't
apply. Now if the interface is patented, then they (Apple), have
something with a little more bite to it. I see this as just a way to
