Professionals know there is no solution...yet
I would say there is no proven solution from Microsoft or any other vender.

"Enterprise ready" has evolved with the IT industry and as such doesn't have a standard to uphold any piece of software. Arguably Microsoft is the closest one for OS and Linux is a second\first for specific tasks, database, web etc.

No one OS yet has the total package that is why venders are sharing technology or grouping their technology. It happens in the linux world too.

Even Oracle's solution is arguably not enterprise ready, it's barely out of the gate and certainly not near proven as other OS\applications.

Microsoft will change the code if they have to, but right now they don't have to. P.S. look at your linux code again...there's legacy instruction set in there as well.
