Where can i find that compression software? and other stories
haha, i did not know that 160 MB could store so many hours of vid! what compression are they using? wink

But seriously, the Clie's departure from the Palm world will be more than crippling as PPC's such as the axim get cheaper with the same features as a high end palm. More devestating for BOTH markets is the advent of the hand held PC, which you guys are making a big deal about lately. If they can come down to a sub $1K price, high-priced high-end PPCs and Palms could be a thing of the past if these new formfactors take any root. These new PCs need to learn from IBM's mistake of the Transnote though with the high price. At aroudn 3K in 2k1, it might have been worth every penny, but those were A LOT of pennies.

This Type X is very intriguing, though i don't know who has 7 TVs in thier house. Maybe someone rich enough to afford a Type X in the first place.

The type U offers only battery life over the Apple. I for one, never will own an iPod (Rio Riot and an Axim X5-256MB sd card- is enough for me). That may not be enough to sway the Ipod crowd at all. Plus Apple has those snazzy new commercials, an aspect which Sony's comp adverts never got down nicely, so Sony may need to get their PS2 advert guys on that one, especially wiht thier newest two. Swweeeettt...

If their new hand held PC can out do OQC's then maybe it has a chance. Personally, i like the options the OQC's PC has. Excuse me while i clean the drool off the floor. Much props to those guys. Oh, yeah, who are their testers?! I want to test that thing! I could test durability, trust me, my friedns don't buy anything that won't turn on after two weeks with me!;)
