Anybody
know what the specs are for these small drives compared to the ATA33,ATA66,ATA100 ... and on to 'sata drives. What DV cams have needed in a while is the information storage afforded via magnetic disk media (take your movie - offload to harddrive,put on dvd .. or the other take - take your movie - put it onto disk via DVD-writer [cabinet box]).

Seen only a few disk based video cams. Would seem that the output could certainly use sata components.

And hopefully these would be user serviceable to replace them if wanted to.

Then mystery solved.
