Got a client who does commercial digital photography. He went the flash memory route because (he says) the microdrives were relatively fragile and his comrades in the business were having problems with losing an entire photo shoot. That really hurts if you were doing a once-only event (like a wedding, for instance). Of course, you can have corruption problems with fm, but he claims that many folks who tried the microdrives were quite unhappy with the reliability compared with the alternatives.
