MS may have Veridion coming out in 2008 but surely you are aware of their current server virtualization software MS VS2005R2 which is in use right now creating plenty of virtual servers in a commercial setting. I ought to know as I sell them every day in my role as Sales Manager for rackforce.com. VS2005R2, like VMWare, is a full virtualization system as opposed to others, like Virtuozzo, that are OS based virtualizers (see http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-linuxvirt/index.html for an explanation of this).
