- The price of hardware is plunging ...
- as the power of little PCs increases exponentially. That means that the price of software is going to be driven down as well as virtualization pervades the industry on the server side. It will be very interesting to see how this technology eventually gets deployed on the corporate desktop and how well software companies will be able to enforce per seat licensing as the hardware gets condensed down to one system running multiple instances of the same piece of software.
