The Right Path
Mike, Mike, Mike...
Knowing that the salvation of the IT world (nay, the ENTIRE world) rests upon Linux, I can say that this new OS from Microsoft will only cause economic destruction throughout every company that it comes in contact with (even via the Internet!)
In our Linux only shop of 2 servers, which replaced 358 Win machines, our productivity increased 1,285% the very second they were up and running. Customers flooded us with calls asking if they had the right company, because the data they were getting was so fast, reliable, and accurate.
Side Note: Unfortunately we missed a Win server and accidentally left it running. Of course it took only 0.0237 seconds for it to become infected with a worm, 2 viruses, 4 DDOS attacks, and 24 e-mails from rich Nigerians. It then proceeeded to catch fire, where upon it mercifully decided to end its own life by opening 3 applications at once - causing a BSOD.
The only problem that WE will encounter with the release of Longhorn is that we will need to upgrade our firewall to block any incoming packets from a Longhorn computer.

Mike- when you learn that Linux will save time, money, effort, and even your very soul - you will then TRULY be working in a Free World.

Linux... God uses it. Don't make Him smite you.
