I thought microsoft was against media copyright infringmeent, but they want to make it easier for consumers to play and record songs and tv shows and films ?Smells like arat to me. Greater improved functionaltiy at microsoft=down the roadless compatibility with other oeprating systems, and a great need to update sooner. Make it $20 a copy and we're in. I also think linux could get on the laptop wagon. Imagine turning on linux and booting directly to send and receive email, type a letter, print out a document, that keeps all other services off and boots rapidly. Boy theres a new idea. How about pc games that run on mac, linux, and windows for uniformity of programming and putting the power of choice of OS at the consumer really.
