This could lead to some good or at least interesting developments in the future.

- Disposable hasmat detectors.
- Short term electronic sensors such as nightclub ID bands to track partyers habits, bills etc.
- Short term electronic badges for security access.
- Field equipment (glasses, goggles, respirators) that adapt to the environment.

If combined with biodegrable materials they could be used in more areas such as wilderness or medical.
- Post surgery internal monitors.
- fire detectors/acid rain detectors.
- Water sensors.
- First Aid kit medical tests.

Conbined with Organic LED's in video arrays:
- Posters with veriable image capability.
- Graphic garments/accessories.
- NASCAR decals that change advertisements during the race on the hood/roof of the car.

There are a lot of short term uses that cheep and flexible microchips would make possible.
