Conundrum

It'll appeal to a niche of buyers, much like the media friendly well
designed machines from Apple. But most people seem to prefer
cheap over quality and design, so I don't expect these to catch
on massively.

Glad to see you're catching on to the many arguments that have
been made to you in the past. Like you, I don't share files or
infringe copyrights, but also like you, I see my fair use rights
being eroded by the RIAA/MPAA pigopolists. While neither of us
should fight to help illegal activities, I do think we share
common ground in protecting our own legal rights. One place
to start is by supporting the EFF:
