Taking is the key word
I am not a Microsoft basher or hater, for I develop on the platform daily. However, this is a prime example of Microsoft using their size and bank to overtake the competition. I don't use PocketPC for I cannot justify the cost. What I can tell you is if I wanted Outlook on my desktop it would cost me nearly $100 and it sure wasn't included in PocketPC. Until recently that is, and it says this could be a contributing factor to the additional market share. Now tell me what company throws a hundred bucks away for it's customers. None, Microsoft throws a hundred bucks away to kill the competition. It's a fact in our world that people will purchase the best bang for the buck. Microsoft has the money to create the bang for the buck to consumers, until they have the market share then your bang goes to poof because they don't have competition to make a better product.
