So, I could have grabbed that market share also...
So what your saying is... if I made a little company, and came out with a handheld OS that was comparable to MS Pocket PC, then my company could have grabbed 40 percent of sales in the hand held area at this time.

Yeah, Pocket PC is a decent OS. Sure it's good enough to compete with Palm.
But if it wasn't Microsoft that came out with it, I doubt they would have that market share by now. MS is a marketing and partnering super machine. All possible by (yes, I'm gonna say it) their dominance on the PC desktop.
It doesn't make their OS any worse; Its good, but let's not kid ourselves.
