RE: Microsoft uses its advantages
>It's a wide open market in which Microsoft has not used unfair tactics to strangle another company.
Palm has advantages, Microsoft has advantages. The winner will be whoever can best get the customer to hand over money.

>Anything wrong so far?

Though he stated "[MS] tend[s] to use whatever leverage they can when it comes to competition", it was clear what he was communicating was the concern of Microsoft's borderline illegal tactics to leverage its products, and if anyone says MS isn't completely guilty of that on a number of occasions, they're either blind or kidding themselves.

That all being said, I'm not sure what drove the spike in PocketPC. It could be PDAs from the like of Dell, etc. being very affordable, especially when compared to Palm-based PDAs with similar features (color screnes, quicker processors, etc.) It could also be that PocketPC is actually a decnt OS... much better than the earlier versions of WinCE. They need to work on the interface and usability of it a little, but it's a solid little OS.
