- The main benefit that we will see is knowing exactly where every item is from this system. The barcode and inventory systems don't tell us where in the building the item is. And in the Distribution centers, presently we have to print thousands of labels per day, and get the label stuck on the correct case. RFID will let us just scan a case and the computers will know exactly what it is without us doing anything to it.
