Just to be clear.....
I was not talking about my attitude towards people, but rather the standard business attitude.

People are cogs and yes business takes into effect the damage and loss of productivity any one missing cog can effect the business machine. Which is why they often insist on "cross-training" their employees. Or better still..like in moved to India and such...the have their former cogs to train the new cog's coming into replace them. Sort of a final twist of the knife as it were.

Believe me business does take into effect the "importance" of a cog, but only in relation to possible loss of revenue. NOT THE PERSON!
