That is the way it's always been..and
will always be. Did you think that America business was different is some way?

Business by it's nature is the perfect example of "Survival of the fitest" To imagine it otherwise is foolish and idealistic.

Business does not hire people out of generosity...If fact they do it only because there is a need to be filled. If that need goes...so do the people. Business does not give benefits, nor pay, or vacations because they desire to be good human beings...they do it because so far that has been the price of getting quality employees in the past. Now with the ability to ship jobs over seas that too might change.

In the end..when all the idealisim is stripped away to any business people are but cogs in a greater money production machine. If they are worn out...they shall be replaced by another cog until that one too wears out. If a part of the greater machine becomes costly it is shut down so that the original goal of the greater machine is kept working...creating revenue. It matters not how many cogs suffer...for in the end of what importance is a cog?
