They are the same people that swear they can hear the difference betwean standard copper wire and "Monster Cable".

There have been many double blind studies that have proved not even the pickiest "audiophile" can not hear the difference. But if thease same "Audiophiles" know which one has standard wire and which one has "Monster Cable" they will all say the Monster cable sounds brighter, clearer, deeper, crisper, better.

This has been proven so much that many companies that produce so called audiophile gear will not perticipate in double blind tests anymore. But only studies that they have rigged and control every aspect of to make sure the audiophiles can in fact "hear the difference".
