Not much more than a decade ago various computing mags were saying "Do we really need processors faster than 300mhz.....?" Within the past 35yrs or so of my life in the computing world I have seen things that, if someone mentioned where we would be today, I would think they were out of their mind. I think we are in the last decade of x86 and will be going another direction by 2012 or so. MS, Apple and the Linux folks are already seeing this and are working the cogs of a new computing world already. Change is good, believe me.
