A clarification...the current hypervisor "technically" does manage partition resources at a hardware level...however, it is an installed piece of code with the licensed internal code. It's there whether you do partitioning or not.

We have one partition on the box that does nothing else but interface to this code and keep the box running. Without going into all the details, the new hypervisor changes that. Stay tuned...
