No. 1, it's not as cheap as it used to be.
And no.2, the quality is pure crap. As more companies actually analyze how much money they have 'saved', they will find these 'savings' more than eaten up with communication overhead and the costs of fixing and supporting crap. The ones who will really lose in the long run are those that actually have the crap fixed and supported offshore -- a cure worse than the disease.

Expect more announcements about companies slowing down their offshoring operations without admitting how much it has cost them and know that there is no way they would pull back unless it was costing too much. Expected savings motivated them and actual losses will motivate them again.
