I see you know little or nothing about manufacturing.
Where are these supposed profits you speak of? I gave you a break down on the cost of manufacturing only. There is also shipping, advertizing, managemnet overhead, and yes a profit. When the store recieves it they too must cover their expenses as well as wages. Hey, let's not forget to pay the government too.

Sorry, but your "common sense" seems to stem from ignorance on the subject.
