Get over it Offshore Outsourcing is here to stay
Hiring offshore workers cuts down on capital expenditures and labor cost. This issue is a dead issue for one outsourced work is not over 12% in the US. If I was the CIO or CEO of IBM I would look for cheaper labor too. Look at this way if you are shopping for a car and one dealer has a cheaper price than lets say US car dealer will pay the higher price? if you do your stupid. Everything from merchandise to services is driven by lower price. If you want the jobs to stay in the US, cut salaries by 55% and than work, but most will not do that. They will just complain about offshore workers supposedly getting their jobs. Even the US gov awards contracts to the cheapest priced contractor. It is savings that drive companies, people and governments to get the cheapest price. Face it, in this globalize market, cheap technical labor is becoming a high valued product in itself.
