It would be even more of book keeping nightmare ....
... to say that two dollars of the Airport Express cost wast for the upgrade of the Macs. How would they know who bought what? would they give those that didn't need the upgrade a price break?

It would have been far better if Apple had just stated the truth. We are charging $ 2.00 to enable this because we can. Blaming it on SOX or GAAP is just dishonest.
