Aren't people paying more than enough for Intel+open source OS
with their logo stamped on it already?

(the equivalently configured Intel-based PC with FreeBSD is MUCH cheaper than Apple's offerings... even the OEM Windows licence price doesn't give any cred back to Apple... not these days. Plus, if Apple wants to win over PC folks, they're not doing a very nice approach by claiming compatibility and then not even supplying any drivers (e.g. their Apple Cinema Display monitors, of which other companies use the same core manufacturer's panel but sell at HALF THE PRICE but with INF and ICM drivers to ensure color matching profiles without the need of expensive third party software...))

Sigh. Why do people keep supporting those greedy little wankers at Apple anyway?? Here's a hint: Stop smoking apple seeds. The cyanide gas emitted by the seeds is making you lot brain damaged!!
