You gotta be Trolling
2nd rate Tech company. Obviously you don't realize the power of IBM. The company with more patents annually for the last few consecutive years. The company is more of a trendsetter than anyone else in the world. If not for them opening up the hardware specs, we would probably all be using Macs. Which probably wouldn't be a bad thing.

IBM isn't based on opensource, IBM is applying it's technology to opensource. Ala SCO lawsuit.

Microsoft's Open standards don't seem to include anyone but Microsoft as a software vendor, but hey, when you have 95% of the desktop market, who cares about standards?
Funny how Microsoft can't seem to fix bugs with cascading stylesheets or other useful techonolgy for web design, but whenever .net is involved, priority is #1.

Lastly and most important to the next Xbox. IBM's current PowerPC Processor is used in the Mac G5. Which is at the moment the fastest desktop processor around. Many can dispute this, but the fact is valid. As proof I would like to bring up the Virgina-tech Mac G5 Cluster. Which ranks number 4 in the world of Supercomunting. Though this is far from number one. All other computers in that performance range have many more processors and about 10 times the cost attached. Tell me that only a second rate company could manage to achive that level of performance.
