- why?
- When IBM sells most of its desktop and servers with MS installed. Remeber IBM is a monopoly itself. Perhaps your to young to remebr that. Since IBM has warmed up to Linux perhaps you can answer why they never opened up the source for AIX, OS/2 MVS etc. Remeber the baeuty of choice is the ability to choose. MS choose IBM IBM then could use tohse dollars to further invest in Linux but perhaps that didn't cross your mind.
