- Allow me to explain:

I bought my first Apple computer because the mac had a graphic operating
system and othe computers had DOS. I had never wanted to use a computer
becasue they were too complicated but I could see some of the advantages of
using one so the mac was the way to go. I bought my Apple iBook in 99 because it
was the first notebook with WiFi. I bought my iMac in 2005 because the computer
was all in one box (the screen no less) and it took up less room on my desk.
Further it had the easiest way to work with movies, music, dvds and photos that I
had ever seen. All of the iLife software interchange files. I bought myiPod in 2003
because I wanted a small music player the fit in my pocket and yet carried most all
of my favorite music. It was a 10 g pod. I doubt if the 80 g pod would carry all that
I have. all of these purchase make sense. They are simply the products that work
the way I want them to.
I have a Treo. I love to surf the net from my phone with a decent real browser. It
works for me. I like the Palm OS very much because it is simple, stable and has
lots of software. Will I buy an iPhone? Hard to say. I love what it does and since I
like to access the net on the go it looks perfect. I will see how Apple addresses the
built in battery issue. I will also wait to see if Cincular discouts it at all. My original
Treo was nearly as much. My biggest issue is the screen. I am a klutz and I broke
the screen on two of my first Palm devices. In their day tey were nearly as
expensive so that worries me. So there is my honest view. Even though I do
consider myself a MacZealot I am not sure if the phone is right for me or if I
should go with a cheap new Treo. - Posted by: TWRX Posted on: 01/15/07 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
