- Bargaining chip (no pun intended)
- This is simply the beginning of negotiations. Intel is basically saying, "We've ignored you until now, but we can fight with you if you want. Let's negotiate a deal or else". They will probably end up making a cross-licensing deal and this will go away. I wouldn't make too much out of it.
