I can't feel sorry for them...
Sorry, but I just can't. This is privacy-invading technology and if consumers are smart it won't stand a chance.

The problem, actually, isn't the RFID manufacturers fault. It's the fault of the merchants because they won't guarantee removal/deactivation when products are sold at the checkout.
