Custome profile
"Efforts to use the technology for inventory management in places like libraries and supermarkets have met resistance from groups who are concerned the tags will link consumers with purchases to develop customer profiles."

This is really useful so people will receive tons of paper garbage in for of mail or even spam e-mail or phone calls advertising some cheap crtap from competition that des not understand that particular user (eg. myself) will not buy some equivalent even if it is cheaper if the person sees some special value in the one and single product.

Have you seen a person driving BMW or Jaguar and still visting WalMart, BJ and Costco for some reasons? Well, there are people thgat are not snobs but they still own very expensive and luxurioius goods and have much different life style than avareage. Try and profile such a person.

Not everybody wants to buy Toyota, have bunch of kids and grill at backyoard of newly bought house with steaks bought at local A&P competening with Super Stop&Shop. The life is much bigger than that, but profilers have flaps on their eyes and will invade your life providing some garbage that you have to handle. Garbage that eventually you pay for.

Good luck
