China needs to be slapped around more.
First for all of you that want to respond, I'll only listen to those that have real experiance dealing with China and it's government. Bluntly, if you haven't done so you have no idea what you are talking about.

The thing people need to understand is that the vast majority of the people in China have spent generations where there is no such thing as "personal property". Everything belongs to the state and the state belongs to everyone, more or less.

Second you are dealing with a government that is accustomed to simply taking anything they want. "Nice rice field you have there, we are taking it."

And finally, China has never played well with anyone outside their borders and I question if they ever will. (At least until their government is over thrown.)

Vendors and manufactures that see nothing but "consumers" and mana from heaven would do well to seek the advice of people that have done business in China and then LISTEN to them...
