Moving jobs to India.
Why are these huge companies moving their work be it RD be it bug fixes or product enhancement etc to India/China?
a. Cheap labour.
b. Better quality of work.
c. More productivity(24/5).
d. Market presence in the worlds growing
economies
e. Make US center "PURE" RD centers.
I am not so sure about (b) but with a,c,d and e i am 100% sure.
I dont understand this whole hue about jobs being grabbed out, the jobs moving out to India is just nothing compared to the manufacturing jobs being moved out to china/mexico/taiwan.
Off all the people, Americans advocate the "NO FREE LUNCH" to the perfection, so if the move to India is not showing any results then Executive mgmt wouldnt hesitate to pull out! So i guess the point is moving outside is proving to be good for corporate America.
