Good point. I agree with you completely.

I've made a damn good living in multimedia development and the interweb for over a decade now and I choose the Windows platform. Yes! I have tried Macs and a couple different flavors of Linux. Still I come back to Windows because, for me, it's the best choice.

I don't ask anyone to do things the way I do them and I don't arrogantly roll my eyes at people because they don't choose to do things the way I do.

Generally speaking, I don't find most Linux fans to be more technically apt and I don't find most Mac users to be more creative. In both cases, they only tend to be more opinionated.

You really shouldn't need to have a social/political cause when it comes to computing. If you do, however, most Linux and Mac fans do their causes more damage with their attitudes rather than good.

If someone likes Linux, they should use it. If someone likes Macs, they should use them. Otherwise, they should step out of the pulpit and pipe down.
