That would be insecure. In my fedora core 4 machine, I have to run the graphical samba share editor, which has a dead simple point and drool interface to put the USB drive on the network.

Does windows really put every drive you add to your machine on the network? Now that's just plain stupid. I put a USB key in my drive with my private PGP keys and windows just shares them right out? No thanks, I'll stick with an OS that's both simple to use AND secure.
