re: Sure
>>While I'm no Democrat, that sure beats re-electing election rigging, constitution destroying, economy bankrupting war criminals back into office, thus giving them ZERO incentive to do diddlysquat for you, as Bush will not be able to be re-elected..What's better, possibly being taxed a little more, or having the current "president" throw all your money out the window (to the tune of HALF A TRILLION DOLLARS)???<<

Nope.. Not a Democrat.. I'm guessing Green Party. Or maybe even just a flaming communist (Same difference). Bet you voted for Ralph Nader in 2000 too.

Funny how the Democrat party has changed in the past 40 years. Sixty years ago, the Democrat party led this country through some of the toughest times in beating back the evil spectre of Hitler, Tojo and the rest of the axis powers in WW II. 40 odd years ago, a generally highly respected Democrat President uttered the immortal phrase "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

And in the intervening years, the Democrat party has changed into an arrogant, gutless bunch of wimps with no respect for anyone except for the left wing socialist euroweenies. Never mind that socialism has FAILED everywhere it's been tried. Financial "Success" has become associated with "Greed" to such an extent that if a company (ANY company) is successful, the people running it are nothing more than a bunch of greedy bastards who's heads should be stuck on a pike. FDR, Truman and JFK (Kennedy, not Kerry) are rolling over in their graves.

Speaking of graves... How many dead people in Chicago voted for Al Gore in 2000? If you want to sling mud about election rigging. Let's talk about those that are the most infamous at doing it.

As for the war effort... You seem to have completely forgotten that the US was attacked FIRST. No... Not by Iraq directly. It was, however, attacked by a terrorist organization that had ties to Saddam and his cronies in Iraq.

Had Clinton had the cojones to deal with them properly back in the 1990's after the 1st World Trade Center bombing, or after ANY of the other attacks against our embassies abroad or military ships in foreign ports, we very easily might not be at war right now. But, ol' Slick Willy was FAR too busy playing "hide the stogie" with Monica Lewinsky and then trying in vain to cover that up. The CIA has released information to the effect that Clinton could have had Osama Bin Laden's head on a silver platter on no less than three occasions during his term. He never went after him.

Burying your head in the sand or ignoring the events of Sept 11th, 2001 will not make Al Qaeda nor the threat they represent go away. These people have sworn jihad to destroy the United States, our allies and any and all infidels who happen to be out there. They will not stop until they have succeeded or they have been stopped themselves.

By ignoring Al Qaeda, you are encouraging them to keep their jihad going. In the past dozen years since the birth of Al Qaeda, they have become more and more brazen. Sanctions will not work (WHO do we apply those sanctions to anyhow? Al Qaeda is not a country, it's an organization that's spread all over the world).

Only by going in with the military and eliminating them as a threat will we ever see peace again.

Therefore I would not say that Bush is throwing money out the window. That 1/2 Trillion dollars is an investment in the future. In time, the end result will be peace. Hopefully your children will appreciate it and the price that was paid to get it.
